The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), and the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) will jointly conduct a one-day seminar on waste management on February 27, for hoteliers, restaurants and other stakeholders in Goa. The seminar will be conducted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).

The GCCI feels that all major hotels and restaurants need to have their own facilities for reducing, recycling and treating their wet and other garbage in an environment-friendly manner and also to try to generate some energy from the waste so that these facilities not only become economical but also save costs for these hotels.

Epson, one of the world’s leading computer companies, recently organised in annual nDimension meeting for its Indian distributors at South Goa’s Ramada Caravela resort.

About 140 partners from all over India attended the three-day event that concluded with the 2010 nDimension Awards.

Senior managers from Epson presented their road map for each product category. One of the highlights of nDimension was an interactive quiz hosted by one of India’s leading Master of Ceremonies, Mark Rego, and a Q&A session with key Epson personnel to discuss implementation and strategies to drive Epson’s share in each market segment.
