Baga Beach
Baga Beach is a small, palm-tree-lined beach located between much larger beaches at Colva and Calangute.
Goa Baga is a much quieter beach than its neighbours and has a much more laid-back feel to it; as a result holidays in Baga are taken by those who want a quieter holiday – an alternative to nearby busier resorts. Fishing is Baga’s great pastime and tourists come from all over to try and land a ‘big catch’.
The Baga River flows rapidly down towards the Arabian Sea and meets the sea current at a group of black rocks to the side of the beach.
