Vagator Beach

Vagator-Beach-Goa

Vagator Beach, located some 22km from Panaji in the Bardez taluka, is an attractive little bay between rocky headlands with a series of small beaches lined with shady palms.

During the tourist season Vagator Beach is famous for its midnight parties and can be reached by bus from Mapusa or Calungate Beach.

Vagator Beach is split into two major parts by a seaside headland: North Vagator Beach to the north and the smaller Ozrant Beach – also called Mini-Vagator – to the south. A much smaller beach between the two beaches is Tel Aviv Beach, or Middle Vagator. All three beaches are equally popular and draw tourists not only from India but all over the world, especially from Israel and Britain.

Vagator Beach forms part of a 30km stretch of beach along Goa’s western coastline. This stretch begins at Fort Aguada and continues as Sinquerim beach, Candolim beach, Calungate beach, Baga beach, Anjuna Beach and Vagator beach before ending by the fort at Chapora which dominates Vagator Beach.
