Southern Goa
The district of Southern Goa covers the entire southern part of Goa state with the Arabian Sea to the west and the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka in the East and South.
Despite many years of tourism, Southern Goa remains relatively unspoilt outside the hotels. There are lots of small lanes winding through the lush green countryside where it is not surprising to see cows and pigs wandering aimlessly across the road like they have all the time in the world!
