Betalbatim Beach is a small, peaceful cove situated some 15 minutes walk from Colva Beach. Despite the presence of a number of large hotels Betalbatim still has a surprisingly relaxed and un-commercial feel to it. As a result holidays in Betalbatim aren’t for those looking for the spirituality and trance music of northern Goa.
This is a more praceful resort, full of Indo-Portugese charm. There are a number of popular beach shacks are Betalbatim offering food and drink at good value.
The beautiful white beach offers long, unspoilt walks in the sunshine or just an opportunity to relax.
Dolphins can often be spotted off the coast at Betalbatim and local fishermen offers trips in their boats to see them.
